South Station Restaurant is chef owned and operated and is by far the best steak and seafood house in Rutland, VT.   Along with our great tasting steaks and seafood, we have introduced some new and exciting menu items that are sure to please.  Here is a sampling:  Grilled Marinated Flank Steak, BBQ Pork Ribs, Veal Francaise, Vt. Maple Pecan Crusted Scrod, and a Chicken Napoleon to name a few. We offer menu specials everyday for lunch and dinner which keep our customers returning to taste what’s new. We offer everything from USDA Angus Prime Rib and Caesar salads topped with your choice of meats to mouthwatering in house made desserts. Our casual upscale atmosphere shows in all 3 of our dining areas; The Victorian room, the Library, and the Garden Room.

Our Lunch Menu offers something for everyone.

Be sure to try our "Perfect Plate"...a mini buffet cooked to order...or try our delicious soup and salad bar that includes 3 soups, assorted breads and even a hot popover.
We also offer a full lunch menu to choose from that includes Sandwiches, Wraps, Beer Battered Fish & Chips, Grilled Lemon Pepper Salmon, Potato Skins w/cheese & bacon, Beef, Buffalo, and Turkey Burgers, Caesar Salads and Appetizers just to name a few.

Sunday Brunch at the South Station Restaurant is the areas favorite! 

Come join us and see what everyone is talking about. There are so many selections to choose from that it satisfies everyone’s brunch craving. We have our famous salad bar filled with fresh fruits, a juice & pastry bar, fresh made to order omelet’s, fresh made to order belgian waffles,  2 hand-carved roasts, and 10-12 hot entrees that include all types of specialty breakfast foods along with pasta, seafood, fish, poultry, vegetable, and meat dishes. Save room because there are at least 20 dessert selections to decide from which are created in house by Chef Michael.
